Hon. Sam Arora (Ret.), Chief Executive Officer
Before taking the helm as CEO, Sam Arora served as the company’s Vice President from 2010 to 2021 and led its business development, human resources, recruiting, and legal departments. He previously served as a State Representative in the Maryland General Assembly, prior to which he was a law clerk to the Attorney General of Maryland as well as the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Mr. Arora has also worked as an aide to two U.S. senators and the Democratic National Committee. He was graduated with honors from Columbia University, studied at the University of Oxford, and earned a J.D. from Georgetown University, where his peers elected him president of the student body. He has served as a member of the policymaking body of the American Bar Association and is admitted to the bars of the U.S. Supreme Court and the State of Maryland.
Kamni Arora, Chief Operating Officer
Kamni Arora directs the company’s finance, operations, and contract administration departments. She has been with the company since 1997, beginning first as controller and general manager, and assuming the position of COO in 2006. At The Arora Group, she successfully has directed the implementation of numerous multi-million dollar IDIQ healthcare staffing contracts with the DoD and civilian agencies, including numerous large and complex contracts of over 1,500 FTEs with nationwide services. Previously, Ms. Arora worked in project management roles for over 20 years. Ms. Arora holds a B.S. in computer science from The University of Maryland.
COL Bob Cornes, USA Ret., Director of Operations
Bob Cornes leads Arora’s performance of its government contracts and leads its operations team. He joined the company in 2023 after leading government contracting business operations and healthcare program management at several other contractors. Mr. Cornes developed his leadership and healthcare operations expertise through 33 years of progressive and global experience in various roles. He has led medical operations and healthcare support in both deployed overseas environments as well as within numerous military treatment facilities within the U.S.. He proudly served 27 years as a Medical Service Corps Operations Officer in the Army, where his culminating role was Commander of the Ireland Army Community Hospital at Fort Knox. His experience includes an assignment at the Veterans Affairs in Washington DC. He holds a B.S. degree in business from Western Oregon State College, a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University, and a Master’s degree in National Security and Resource Strategy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School.
SMSgt Terrence Gonzalez, USAF Ret., Director of Recruiting
Terrence Gonzalez leads Arora’s talent acquisition and supplier management. He have over five years of government contracting experience and nearly 30 years of expertise in recruiting and management. Joining The Arora Group in 2019 as a recruiter, he progressed to his current role in 2021. Mr. Gonzalez previously served in senior recruiting roles for several organizations including as Military and Diversity Program Manager and as a board member of the Georgia Diversity Council. Previously, he served for 26 years in the U.S. Air Force, which included as a recruiter for 16 years and culminated in the role of Superintendent for a recruiting unit overseeing three states and comprising 100 recruiters. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and earned an MBA in Human Resources Management from TUI University.
