The Defense Health Agency (DHA) announced Wednesday a six-month extension of its first-generation Multiple Q-Coded Services (MQS) contract to The Arora Group and other companies, allowing continued medical staffing support for Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) across the United States. This extension enables Arora and others to continue to receive task order awards under the contract through March 31, 2025.
Along with the MQS contract extension, DHA simultaneously and identically extended the ordering window its nonclinical Medical Support Services (MSS) staffing contract, which Arora also supports.
“Arora has helped care for the men and women who serve our country since 1989,” said CEO Sam Arora. “We look forward to continuing to help the Defense Health Agency in support of that vital mission.”
DHA’s extensions also align with the agency’s commitment to manage a smooth transition as the agency finalizes the consolidated successor contract to MQS and MSS, known as MQS2-NG (Next Generation). In May, DHA announced that The Arora Group was selected for an award in the MQS2-NG contract’s unrestricted pool, along with ten other companies.
